Abby’s experience in complex construction defect, insurance, business, and personal injury litigation makes her a crucial member of any team. Abby has worked in a variety of contexts including in private practice, state government, and for one of the largest property and casualty insurance companies in the world. She has had the privilege of representing a number of general contractors and subcontractors in the context of construction disputes, as well as insurance carriers and their insureds in various UM, UIM, and other personal injury and contract cases.

Abby enjoys premises liability cases and most tort-related litigation. She also worked early in her career in trademark, copyright, and related issues surrounding the protection of the creative/proprietary work of writers, artists and businesses. She is able to bring experience from nearly two decades of civil litigation practice to her work.

Abby R. Michels is delighted to call the Pacific Northwest home. She grew up in eastern Washington and is an avid plant, animal, and art supporter.
