According to the National Human Trafficking Resource Center, “Human trafficking is a form of modern slavery that occurs in every state, including Oregon.”  On Monday night, KOIN News investigated sexual exploitation at the Stars Cabaret strip club in Beaverton, Oregon.  MLR attorney, Tony Reiner, and co-counsel, Joel Shapiro, appeared on KOIN News to talk about sex trafficking in Oregon and the impact on vulnerable victims.  MLR has filed a lawsuit on behalf of two sex trafficking victims who were just 13- and 15-years-old when they were abused and exploited at the Stars Cabaret strip club in Beaverton.  Stars Cabaret is already facing disciplinary action from the OLCC and the Bureau of Labor and Industries.  Now, the club will have to face its victims.  Watch it here:  http://koin.com/2016/08/15/stars-cabaret-accused-of-exploiting-girls-in-8m-suit/
