Insurance Disputes

Our attorneys have represented hundreds of clients in insurance claim disputes and coverage investigations through trial and appeal.  Our substantial experience provides us with the knowledge and expertise necessary to efficiently and effectively identify, analyze, and advise our clients about complex insurance claim issues.  We are able to identify all potential forms of coverage available under a policy and determine whether a particular loss is covered, limited or excluded by the terms of an insurance policy.  MLR attorneys are well-versed in the applicable case law and statutes governing insurance coverage and how those authorities might impact whether a loss is covered under the policy.  Our lawyers also have substantial experience providing advice concerning the investigation of insurance claims and are familiar with the rights and obligations of the insurer and insured, including cooperation in insurance coverage investigations, misrepresentation or concealment of material information, and fraud.  We have represented clients in hundreds of examinations under oath (EUO) as part of insurance claim coverage evaluations and are familiar with the contractual obligations associated with EUOs.  Our unique experience allows us to provide reasoned and effective legal advice to our clients.  We have also handled litigation and trials relating to a number of different forms of insurance policies, including homeowner’s, property, automobile, commercial, liability, and other specialty insurance policies.  We routinely represent clients in property losses caused by fire, water, theft, mold, wind, and collapse; commercial insurance losses regarding business interruption and business income loss; and automobile insurance, including personal injury protection (PIP), uninsured/underinsured motorist (UM/UIM), and property damage.  Regardless of the type of loss or insurance policy, the attorneys of Maloney Lauersdorf Reiner have the knowledge and experience necessary to effectively represent our clients’ interests.
