Tonight, MLR appellate attorneys, Nick Thede and Janis Puracal, will be judging the Mock Appellate Argument competition for Lewis and Clark Law School.  The competition, held annually, gives first year law students the chance to prepare briefs and present oral argument to a panel of lawyers who judge them on their skill and presentation.  Nick and Janis, experienced appellate attorneys, will get the chance to be judges (instead of their normal role as the lawyers) and give the law students critical feedback to help them develop their skills.  Good luck to all the competitors!
