MLR’s New Building

On April 1, 2015, MLR will be moving into the newly purchased Burnside Rocket building located at 1111 E Burnside Street in Portland.  The Burnside Rocket is a model in sustainable construction.  It was one of the first LEED Platinum certified commercial buildings in the world and won the Urban Land Institute’s Award for Excellence in 2011.  The building features:

  • Geothermal heating and cooling system with other sustainable elements.
  • Operable art-as-window shades featuring up-and-coming artists.
  • Edible rooftop garden serving the top floor restaurant.
  • Geothermal well that feeds the building with high-quality tested water.

MLR is excited about this new opportunity and would like to share the progress of this major step in the evolution of the firm.  Over the next several weeks, we will be sharing videos on the progress of the construction of our space, which is located on the third floor of the building.
